Yes, avsforums has a "wealth" of A/V information, you just have to "sift" through the "trolls", amongst other things to get to the "meat" of your answers/research.

Sometimes "newbies" ask over again what the best settings are for a HDTV, or what they should buy within a thread, as they (and I) can get very confused after a couple thousand posts.

But I recommend it along with our forum for the knowledge and help it brings!
