. . . that Channels 6, 12, and 58 have all found it necessary to add a temperature and time bug to the bottom of the screen, just so that we know it's summer.

OK, that wasn't much of a punchline, but I guess the joke's on us anyway.

Honestly, between the almost-constant weather warning bugs that take up 30-40% of an already shrunk down 4x3 window, and the everyday channel ID bugs, looking at a 2" video iPod screen is looking rather reasonable right now.

I wouldn't be surprised if you're right though.

Maybe we should start a topic for the most ridiculous weather-related feature a station could come up with, and then just wait for it to happen.

We've got a Severe thunderstorm warning. HD goes off without an issue in Bos and CT tonight. The joy of no Wizzing on consumers. :D
