According to this, the San Antonio, TX region has these new channels:

Good luck on our local TWC region getting these anytime soon...but you never know, do you? :D

Maybe our local forum member could shed some light on this for us TWC HD subscribers?

Just thought I would update any HD channels TWC HD subs (somewhere) are getting
(if they subscribe to these premium movie channels, of course).
Additionally, I do not find the Starz! On-Demand channel in these current listings at this location, though I thought it was a requirement to get the Starz!HD channel.

Austin, TX is reportedly getting these channels, too, though nothing is confirmed
 - see HDTVoice
(we have this forum's link on this site).

Is there anything you can offer as to our TWC location getting these HD channel additions?

Per last reply:

Update: See:

Now it's confirmed for two TWC locations! :)

As far as I know, no HD channel additions are being considered at this time in the SE WI area.

Thank you for your answer, I will not "kick the messenger", so to speak.
I wonder why this is that Texas locations are only getting these HD channels.

I thought that was the case, but had to ask...but it is disappointing nonetheless. :(
Cinemax HD and Starz!HD are great for movies and I subscribe to both in SD, hoping for the day when our local TWC offers them in HD. :D

I'll be getting Comcast tomorrow at least for the baseball season and until I have the time to arrange for a DISH install.

NESNHD!!!!!!
INHD
INHD2/YESHD
Discovery HD
ESPN HD
ESPN 2 HD!!!!!!
Universal HD
MTV HD!!!!!!
Showtime HD
Starz HD
Cinemax HD
HBO HD
ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, WB, PBS QAM

You guys are getting screwed. All I'm missing is TNTHD and HDNets and I'll get that with DISH eventually.

Okay, okay, Joseph S:
Where do you live and can you sign me up, too?

If you live the short distance as I do from the Illinois border, but on the other side, then you DO have Comcast, lucky you, but I thought they had TNTHD as well?

Anyway, I would gladly get Cinemax HD/Starz!HD along with WB (soon CW) despite the loss of those HDNETs anyday, along with getting any other HD channels we don't get,  since Comcast works with SBG instead of against it,  like TWC. :D

CT. :D

I actually do get TNTHD too which isn't listed as available here!! :D Just need to get the firewire box again. Same old tech support nightmare for that as TWC.

Subscribing to:
NESNHD (Free with basic)
ESPNHD
ESPN2HD (Free with basic, but ESPNHD isn't???)
TNTHD
DiscoveryHD
INHD
INHD2
Universal HD
MTV HD
StarzHD
CinemaxHD

All but UPNHD on QAM.

Trying the others over HBO/SHO HDs for now to see what they have.

If you are in CT, you are still complaining by your signature about local HD mess-ups, so it is a bit confusing.

Are you staying/living there permanently, or is Milwaukee your second home?

Either way, thanks for the update and information!

The two Texas locations that have Cinemax HD and Starz!HD have, I believe, that switched video technology to increase bandwidth, like all TWC locations will eventually have over time.
Austin,TX also offers the Sci-Fi Channel with digital delivery and has had it for some time - imagine no more awful analogue-channel pictures, though not HD, since it not broadcast in HD (yet).

Houston, TX has an done an agreement with its local WB HD station (not a Sinclair one)and now offers 6 HD locals.
It also has HBO and Showtime East AND West.
That could change if they swapout the west versions for Cinemax HD and Starz!HD.

Effective July 11, TWC subs get some analogue-only changes on our local TWC lineup.
But that is all we get, as I just got mail from TWC with these new changes and listed in the chart TWC mailed, no HD channel additions are printed on it.

Very sad. :(

QuoteAre you staying/living there permanently,
Yeah, for a few years at least. Will probably end up back in Boston where I'm headed for the 4th.

Quoteor is Milwaukee your second home?
Not anymore, but I'll probably visit at some point.

New signature to reflect move with all sorts of new HD options. :D (It's ignoring the fact that one Fox and WB station use stretch-o-vision on all non-networked programming, but they'll hear from me soon enough.)

Thanks for the information once again.

Comcast offers different options than other cable systems, including working with the Sinclair Broadcast Group and adding more premium movie HD channels and now, ESPN2HD and MTV HD.  :D

Too bad TWC does not value its HD subscribers as much as Comcast does.
