JimBoy, how much bandwidth is it getting?

TAS

I believe the Tube comes from AMC-3 C-band.  On G10 There is a channel called "THE.TUBE", but that is acctualy retro jams not same as 24-2.  I think retro jams on G10 would have been better (better music selection).

Are you able to adjust the bitrate, so that when 24-1 is broadcasting HD 24-2 is low, but increases when 24-1 is just showing SD?

I think I can answer my own question TSReader indicates its 4.39mbps which is higher then other multicast channels 4.2, 10.x 55.2,3,4 58.2

Wow, I'm able to get WVCY D22.  It's been showing up in the channel list for quite a while but I was never able to receive it.

Not at this time but the capability is there.  I could do it manually but the software upgrade to do it automatically would be much better.

First started with 3Mbps for video but up-ed it to 4 for this weekend.
The HD stream (video) has been running at 15Mbps since its inception. With the Tube at 3Mbps the HD stream remains at 15Mbps.

Statistical multiplexing would be the ideal answer. It steals bits from the channel that doesn't need it for the moment and gives them to the one that does based on priority.

TsReader indicates the bitrate for the entire stream. This includes audio. Video currenty at 4Mbps and audio at 320Kbps (it is music) and other PSIP stuff.

WVCY recently went full power shortly after WCGV & WVTV did. The same factory tech did all three.

From time to time you may notice a loss of signal on The Tube. We are experencing reception issues that need to get looked at next week.
