Need your collective advice................ I live in West Allis. Would like to get the Chicago stations, without having to use a rotor. Is their a product out there that will fill that need?

You will have to customize something yourself and there are several ways to do it, but it will take a lot of expirementing on your part.  There is no magical antenna out there and the theory gets to deep to go into here, however its always worth trying if your up for it.

If you want suggestions PM me and I will give you my number to call and explain several different ways of going about this, but will need some info from you before I can suggest some things. :)

I'm not sure you're going to find that "magic bullet" to do what you are looking for.

The simplest really is a decent deep fringe antenna, possibly a pre amp/amp, roof mount and a rotor.

I have a medium range antenna mounted on the roof with a rotor.  On a good "skip" day I can get 1-2 Chicago, Michigan and Indiana stations by swinging my antenna around.

If I upgraded the antenna and added an amplifier my results would probably be more consistent.

I live very near the West Allis (68th & Oklahoma) area and geography also play's into reception results.  If you live nearer to the area around 92nd and Oklahoma you are at one of the highest points in the city everything else around it drops in elevation.
