Shop At Home Network is shutting down in late June:

So what do you think this will mean for WJJA Channel 49 in Racine? Will they just fill in the soon-to-be-empty slots with more infomercials? I suppose it's too hopefull of me to wish that they'd put "real" programing on the air...

Awwww WJJA is losing "Shop At Home".  They better get off their lazy butt and consider hiring some people.  They can hire me and I will be sure to fill the program days with reruns of "Leave It To Beaver", "Gilligan's Island", "Petticoat Junction", "Jeff's Collie", "Mr. Ed", "Star Trek" (Shattner and Nimoy series only), "Hazel", "Father Knows Best", "I Love Lucy", "Outer Limits", "Suspense", "77 Sunset Strip", etc etc etc...

Ta hell with WJJA... hire him to upgrade the Universal HD lineup!

It's nice to know that I am not the only one who likes classic TV.  Nick and TV Land used to show a lot of this stuff, but apparently many advertisers aren't supporting classic TV.

Oh well!!!  Thats why we have DVD players now and glad most of the classic TV shows are available on DVD.

I think TNT is in for a lineup change before Universal HD. Outside of Alias there's nothing on TNT but Law and Order.

I am a closet classic TV watcher too.  I would add Doby Gillis to the lineup.

Hmm...

Then came Bronson, Whirlybirds, Sea Hunt, Ripcord...

I wonder how many are available for syndication?
