Greetings,

I was enjoying my television last sunday when I heard a "knock" coming from within the set and instantly the picture went out of focus, as the blue color no longer aligns with the rest of them.  I cannot re-align the blue through the menu because it seems to not be moving.  I can align the red though.  The televison is still watchable, albit with a odd blue shadow on everything.

My question is; where would you recommend I go to repair it?  Is it anything I could do myself?

I live in Wauwatosa and the TV is a Samsung HCN4226W (42" RP HDTV)

Thanks for all your help,
Chuck

Bebop

It's going to cost some money.  If it's more than $700, get a new set.

Panasonic TH-50PX60U
Panasonic TH-42PZ85U

Anyone have a recommendation for a repair shop?

solid state on greenfield.... they just looked at mine today, going to cost me 260.00$ to fix though. Tom is the owner , we actually were talking about the samsungs.

thanks, I think I will take it there.

Sucks to have to pay $260.00, but what else am I going to do?
