Band opening

For those of you interested in TV DX'ing there has been a terrific band opening
the last couple days and nights!

Last night received about 9 stations from IL, IN, MI with 70- mid 80's signal strength with NO dropouts all night. :rofl:

Just do a rescan with your tuner and see what you get.

What are you using?  I am using a Directv H10.  I was just wondering if it's possible to get other stations with this receiver, or should I get a stand alone HD tuner.

Using a dish vip211 HD tuner and digital stream HD3150plus for HD picture in picture.

The 3150 blows away the tuner in the dish receiver though much hotter tuner with  better multipath rejection.
