Anyone know what's going on with TWC duplicating several of the channels in the 1900's?  Some of them say subscription service, some don't, but  I get all of them at their regular location.

I see some analog equivalents in there... maybe they're finally converting 2-99 to digital.

Yes, it is TWC's aim for the rest of the year that all its regions copy the analogue channels to digital for display for those subscribers with cable boxes.

Reading avsforums and hdtvoice (links on this site) many TWC regions are currently experiencing this sort of thing on different channel numbering schemes, but for the same purpose.
Some other locations have been completed this, already. :D
As for me, I cannot wait for the Sci-Fi Channel with digital delivery.
One location's subscriber reported that when all-digital, even if not HD, many of those channels look almost as good as DVD.
If that is true, I can hardly wait for my favourite channels to go digital delivery! ;)

Channels in the 1900's are for the new Family Tier.
Can't give any specifics, but digital delivery of analog channels is in the works for WI area.

If it's not too specific - does this mean channels like SciFi will be fully in the digital realm from transmission to our televisions? I'd hate for most of them to be converted from an analog source.

(Oh, and if you have any pull around there... SciFi is the last channel you're gonna want to downsample. ;) )
