I have recently noticed that local channels 18 & 24 are now broadcasting in HD OTA. I just wish the Bucks games were shot with HD equipment but the upconvert still is a big improvement.
Thanks 18 & 24!

NY is NY and SE Wisconsin TWC is whole different animal, er, region.
Sinclair Broadcast Group is not battling with TWC for digital/HDTV carriage in NY
-the location you are discussing here.

The Houston, TX TWC location just added WB HD, but again, no SBG battle there, either. :D

Until the contract "battle" is over, HD subs in Milwaukeeland get only HD OTA for WB HD and UPN HD which is fine for many, unless you want to time-shift using cable and so far, your TWC cable HD DVR does not allow for HD inputs from OTA sources and probably never will.

If you have the Dish or Directv HD DVRs, these allow HD OTA recordings along with their HD channel offerings.

Nice thoughts and info, though... ;)

Is anyone else getting the channel on 61-1 instead of 18-1?  For the last couple of days it hasn't been remapped.  Maybe the PSIP is out of whack.

The PSIP software for both stations was updated on Wednesday of this week. During which time the PSIP data was unavailable (during the upgrade).
Some receivers actively scan and make channel reassignments without the users intervention. It's possible your receiver defaulted to 61-1 but didn't make the switch back.
I just checked the PSIP and all is well. Try a manual rescan or a scan that replaces the current channel lineup. . Let me know if it still remains on 61-1.
