TWC HDDVR Stopping to soon

My TWC DVR is stopping one minute short somtimes. How can you make sure it gets the all of the program?

It's not your DVR , it's the networks practice. You can set recordings to end/start later/earlier under record options. However, you may still get screwed if both tuners need to record following that program.
