Would Like 2nd dish for SD Locals Help?

I currently have E* with a VIP622 HD DVR, upgraded 3/4 to this from an 811.

They installed a Dish1000, at my request(DEMANDED) because I did not want to have two dishes for the long run.  

In the mean time I can not get my local Milwaukee channels which I subscribe to in SD format.  

I do have an old oval dish from E*.

My question is:  Can I connect it to the second sat input on the VIP622, or do I have to feed it into the Dish 1000 which has no external switch, and...

Which sattelite do I point dish 2 toward for Local milwaukee stations?

Any dish gurus help would be appreciated.

Sat 121 is the milwaukee location.  You will need a DP44 switch.  Good luck

Feed the 1000 into the dp44 then put up wing dish for 121 and feed that into dp44 and whala your going, BUT you may want to wait they will be eliminating
121 and moving all locals to 110 or 119 in the next few months which means
you will then get them with your 1000
