I wanted to dedicate a single thread so they have one place to see who can and who cannot pickup Digital 6 over the air so they can update their http://www.milwaukeehdtv.org/photos/WITI-DT.GIF">coverage map, which only shows a single viewer in Menomonee Falls.

Please post: Whether or not you get a watchable signal, Rough street location, antenna, STB/Tuner Info, and if you have a way to measure it, what signal strength. (Obviously, post only if you have a way to pick up OTA signals)

I'll kick it off...

I CANNOT
Germantown, Goldendale and Mequon rd.
Radio Shack Double Bow Tie/RCA DTC-100
Signal Strentgh of 25

I can pick it up.  South central Mequon.  RS double bow tie in attic.  Sony HD200.  Signal strength reading mid range.  No dropouts of audio or video.

I used to be able to get a 100% signal before WISN went online, but now I rarly get more than 15 to 25 percent, which results in nothing but chunks of pixelated blocks.

For some reason I don't understand, I was able to get 65% out of it today with very touchy rotor adjustments, and I actually could watch the Packers get embarassed by the Vikes.

It really is a shame that so few are able to see that amazing Fox Widescreen coverage.  It is the best Pro Football picture you can get right now.

Unfortunatly for Fox affiliates it's going to look pretty shabby up against MNF next year though.  You would think they would want to capitalize on it this year while they have the advantage.

I used to be able to get it before WISN and WTMJ went full time (when either was on the air I couldn't).
Now I cannot receive it on either antenna or receiver.
I have a highgain antenna at 50' with preamp and another at 40' without preamp.
3 blocks west of downtown Cedarburg.

No surprise that up here in (just south of) Oostburg I don't get them.  I have a roof-top antenna with a preamp.

I get CBS without a problem and I believe they are at a lower power.  Of course their transmitter is up on their main tower.

bigcheeshead

I get 2% or less here in Menomonee Falls.
This is true for
apartment community antenna
RS double bowtie
and Zenith Silver HDTV sensor antenna
Between the 3 antenna's I get all other Milwaukee HDTV channels at nearly 100%

Nada. Town of Waukesha, Hwy 164 at Lawnsdale. All the other HD stations 100% with a Channel Master 4 bay bow tie on the roof, and a Mits SR-HD5 stb.

Ty Zucker

I live in Cedarburg at the corner of Madison & Cleveland - about 2 blocks west of downtown.  We have an antenna on the roof and a DTC-100.  I get a signal strength of 24 for 6-1.

Matt Heebner

I could not get a signal until I moved my Double Bow Tie antenna to the attic. I then got a 70 signal strength on my RCA DTC-100 at 60th and Wells here in Wauwatosa. The day WISN went live with their signal, FOX got knocked down to a solid 22 signal strength which is a "weak signal" according to the DTC-100.

Needless to say I don't get 6 digital in Racine.

Community Roof antenna, Bow Tie, and Silver Sensor net zilch in their must carry zone. Of course there's nothing wrong??   It's time for the FCC to step in immediately. "Next Summer" is not a viable option considering they're already 6.5 months post the 5/1/02 deadline.

Near Prospect and North on the east side I can receive them if I move the RS double bowtie to the third floor window, turn it on it's side and point it exactly right. It is watchable but breaks up every now and then.. it's not a very strong signal.

Nothing here, Menomonee Falls, Hwy Q and Appleton.

From North Lake Wisconsin with an amplified rooftop antenna and rotor - - channel 33 from Michigan analog comes in with a lot of snow. No Fox 33 though.
