I believe that the WITI tower is till the tallest free-standing TV tower in the U.S. It is no longer the tallest free-standing tower (The Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas is taller.), but if you restrict your search to free-standing TV towers, I believe that it is still the tallest.

Incidentally, a new Tokyo tower has been announced that will be even taller.

Speaking of the tower of light,

I was cruising through Estabrook the other day,

Higgins Tower service is working on it with a VERY large spool of Very large cable
Lots of rides up and down in the elevator.

Anyone have a clue what's going on?

WUWM is changing out its antenna and feed line.  They been operating off their back transmitter on the Grand Ave.
