I just did a GBay OTA rescan and found three subchannels on PBS-HD.

 38-1 PBS-HD DD 5.1 "Soft HDTV picture"

38-2 PBS-SD DD 2.0  Looks like an Analog Picture, but OK

38-3 PBS-SD 'Create Chan'  DD 2.0 with totally usless Audio....

It is very difficult to contact PBS people in GBay......

Madison PBS tends to not reply......

Us PBS-HD fans will pay a price to watch PBS-HD as the

Madison WPT folks prove that they can/have to multicast!!!

Den Mayer

Talked to Madison WPTV gal who commented that my 'CREATE-3'

audio problem is caused by Samsung OTA digital tuners.....

Tomorrow I intend to talk to the Engr about both Tuners & HD Bandwith

on PBS-HD for both Cable & OTA HD signals at Madison PBS station.

PBS-SD  -3 Madison/GBay subchannel audio problem now fixed.......

Create channel now functions for both T-151 & T-451 OTA external

digital tuners..      I did visit a Toshiba HD set at a small OTA TV store

and noticed that PBS-3 (WPTV) audio functioned normally...   but not

on my OTA HDTV...      I believe it was a Madison prob now corrected....

What I really noticed on the Toshiba big screen...    Is that WPTV SD TV

channel run at 3 Mbps really looks fuzzy....     On my 34" CRT

it only looks only half fuzzy......   but watchable if interesting Prog...

What bothers me to no end is having the 19.39 Mbps 1080i channel

  multicast into 3 Subchannels of:  13. HD, 3. SD, & 3. SD...

Not good for big screens nor real Good for HD either......
