Three of the four games there scheduled for Friday will air in HD, of course not in Milwaukee where the local broadcaster clearly doesn't give a _____ about quality. That includes the Wisconsin game. I'm sure many will be pleased to watch the home team in inferior to analog quality on their new HDTVs.

I live by Pilgrim and County line.  I have an antenna on the roof with rotor, turn in to WISC in Madison, Perfect HDTV NCAA.  And I still can watch the interesting games from 58.

WISC in madison is solid, everyday, perfect signal --- even in the Milwaukee area.
(DIGITAL CHANNEL 50) for WISC-DT

Last year i saw the UWM game in HD when the city of Milwaukee had multi-cast.

best of both worlds. :)

the local teams should be in HD if it's broadcast that way.  Without a doubt.

It's not like people can't get all the games if they want to - Directv has a package.  Watching the Marquette game right now is painful - the picture quality is terrible!

CBS-58 should be embarrassed... but it is all about the money - and I'm sure they got a lot of $$$ from multicasting - prob both from commercials AND possibly from the cable operators...

It is a shame, but our local CBS doesn't care about it's HD viewers.  That is not a surprise - we knew that already.

I'll have to see if I can get the Madison affiliate - if I can, I'll watch them exclusively for now on.... Milwaukee CBS-58 has lost my viewship due to this BS they do for the tourney every year....

Very good points....

What is the point of multicasting, when CBS continually switches games to show us highlights and breaking news.  I'm trying to watch the Marquette game on 58-1, and they keep interupting to show whats happening in the Winthrop/Tennesee game which is being broadcast on 58-5.  I'm not even going to start a rant on the PQ right now....

cbs 58-5 says I should be getting the Belmont vs UCLA game but nothing is there.

I am receiving all the other 58-1,2,3&4 via OTA.

Anyone else getting this game?  It is 5:55 and looking at ESPN.com it is being played now.

Edit - Rescan did the trick.
