2-way wireless HD from TWC cable box

I was hoping someone could indicate to me if it is possible to use those 2-way RF cable TV transmitters to send HD signals from my cable box to my new DVICO HDTV5 USB tuner.  I know it works for standard definition cable.

Also, I have an old standard definition TV which is my main TV in the living room.  I do not have the money (or wife's approval) to buy a new HDTV yet, but I was hoping using the HDTV box for my standard TV (with 1 coax input) could still work.

I basically want to have all of the TWC HD and digital channels on my laptop back in my bedroom.  Sounds desperate, and it probably is.

Thanks in advance for any insight.

I dont think so, in fact I have not found any that any do component video.  But you can get by with the existing transmitters.  Simply move the cable box to be by your computer then use the transmitter to send the signal to your SD TV.

I personally use the Terk Leapfrog (I think it was about $50-70 at BB).  I have my cable box connected to my projector in my living room.  However I do most my TV viewing on my SD TV in my office.  Being a single guy I can only watch one TV at a time so I could not justify the price of a second receiver so I got the Leapfrog.  It works great.  Picture quality it very good and the remote control works just as nice as if I were in the other room.  The only problem I have had is some glitching whenever I cycle power on my wifi router but that only lasts a few seconds and its not like I reboot the router that often.

Thanks for the solution.  I think I will try this.  I was wondering how do the HDTV stations look on your SDTV when transmitted from the wireless units?

The composite output from the cable box feeds the Leapfrog so any HD stations get  grey bars at the top and bottom of the screen.  It looks just like if you connected the composite output directly to a SDTV.  Very crisp but still does not look nearly as nice as when its connected to an HDTV.
