Within the past week or two, has anyone noticed this? It's not major dropouts or breakups or anything, but there's constantly little video artifacts all over the picture. I'm noticing this on TWC's feed, and haven't checked the OTA signal, so at this point I'm not sure where the problem lies.

Anyone else?

Lost was full of artifacts tonight for me (TWC/SA8300HD). Almost ruined a really great episode. I sort of hope that is happening on the OTA signal so I don't have to regret getting TWC even more than I already do.

Let me know of some examples. I'm way behind on my watching and will be through Jan, but I've got a bunch of the dramas on my OTA PVR to check if you can give me specific times. (Preferably not involving plot. ;) )

No issues OTA tonight. Sorry.

I was noticing the issues as well. They're not bad enough to make it unwatchable, the artifacts flick on and off so quickly you BARELY notice it... but you do notice it, and it's just REALLY REALLY annoying.

WISN HD OTA - no problems.
WISN SD OTA = WITI SD OTA and they are far, far behind other Milwaukee locals in PQ.

I saw what you were talking during Lost recorded on my TWC HD-DVR.

I also watched lost OTA in HD, it was fine.

I don't watch Lost, but on TWC this week it was clearly visible on Desperate Housewives, Boston Legal, and Emily's Reasons Why Not.

I'm noticing the same issue with the entire opening segment of this Monday's CSI: Miami recorded from CBS HD. I'll update if it's thru the entire show or not.

EDIT: Yep, it happens on and off throughout the entire episode.

It was a perfect PQ via OTA. I think that it was probably the best ever CSI Miami in PQ. I even forgot sometimes to pay attention to th action. PQ was just pristine. I watched it from 942 HD DVR.

I am on the north side of Racine.  I get artifacts on all the Milwaukee HD channels on my Mitsu tube rptv but I get perfect HD picture on my Aquos.  Anyone know why?

Ya gotta give us more to chew on than that...

My Aquos HDTV has perfect reception and perfect picture on the Milwaukee HD programs.  Signal of 95 to 100. No complaints with that TV.  The problem is with my 65" Mitsubishi 65711 HD rear projection TV.  I get a lot of little square artifacts jumping all over the screen on all the digital channels like it is losing the signal.  It is very annoying.  I have plugged my Aquos into the same antenna line as the Mitsi and gotten a perfect picture.  I am using a channel Master 8 bay UHF pointed at 350 degrees from my location as per the web site.  Do I have a problem with my Mitsu or is it's tuner crappy?
Thanks

I'd have to go with a possible tuner issue.  Try to play with the levels hitting the Mits tuner.  Bypass the splitter (adds 3db of power) and see if it helps.
