I have noticed on some programs that the sound is a little bit early or a little bit delayed.What is the problem?

Paul Bethke

I haven't noticed this much lately, but it used to be more prevalent. (Perhaps I'm just growing tolerant here.)

It can be caused by the transmission or by your receiver. I normally attribute the mis-sync to the broadcaster/network, but have seen on occasion the problem go away if I simply switch to another channel and switch back again. (Hughes E86 receiver)

I don't believe I've ever seen the sound "early", however. Only "late" or "later". Kinda like watching old Godzilla movies.   Ha ha.

I noticed a problem on the HDNET feed on 46-2 on OTA.  Is that where you see it?  I think it's the transmission and not the reciever.  Maybe others can reply?

I have no other problems with the other channels.  46-2 is fine with the CBS HD programming, just HDNET isn't synched.

KMAN;

Its not your set, from time-to-time we have video and audio delay issues with HDNet.  We have tried to work out the issue as to the WHY, & the solution, but it appears that when we go through our HD video/audio router and make a swithc from CBS HD or our up-covert to HDNet, we experience occassional sync issues with our equipment.
