SA 3100 volume problems

The volume on this box keeps changing. When I go into the settings the volume is at different levels every time. I turn it up to 100... 30 seconds later it is is at 40. :guns:

Is there something I need to do differently to save the volume settings? I currently have it hooked up via component cables.

Is there a better box available from TW at the Mayfair? I turned in my Pioneer 3510(I think it was this model) because my friend has great reception with a SA box. Thoughts???

Do it again, but instead of exiting the 'volume' screen with exit, press 'A'.

I've had a TW Cable SA-3250-HD box for two years, two months now

 in Green Bay.    I run the DVI video out with Optical sound out too.

 I had a Cable loudness variation the first 3 months....

 I fixed audio Cable Prob. by resetting the SA-3250-HD menu remote option:

              AUDIO : Volume Control             from Variable to Fixed....
