OK I got my Sony KDL-V40XBR1 and it is GREAT!!!  :guitar: Question is what to do with the 32 in. Mitsu set that is really in fine condition. It is about 10 years old but still puts out a nice picture. I know it isn't worth much but are any agencies / charity / private people  willing to take it off my hands? Or do I just drag it down to the curb?

Do the Vietnam Veterans come to your neighborhood to pick things up from your house?  They would definitely take it and give you a tax write off.

Good Idea! :guitar: Wasn't sure if they take TV sets.

You can always call to confirm.  They have taken many items from me.  I don't recall if a TV was one of them.

I've always called St. Vicent De Paul, if it's working they take it.  I also have the IRS bulletin that shows you the amount you can list for the donation and decduct from you taxes.
