I just noticed that my CBS signal has gone from the 60s to the low 40s and I'm experiencing dropouts. Is this on my end? Anyone else experiencing this?

Hopefully, it's at their end because getting my landlord to fix it would not work too well. I haven't noticed a change in my reception of other stations.

Objectively speaking, anything is possible with our friends at our CBS affilliate.  Currently, I can not receive them at all and that is after spending $400 just to do that.

I'm getting an 88... about the same as always... maybe you haven't brushed the snow off your antenna!

NO problem here..... I was telling my wife that sometimes a board member has to call 58 to flip a switch... just as I said that *poof* CSI-Miami was in HD

Was that you Tom?

I got the call through to 58.  Called the news room (always answer 24/7) and asked to be swithched to control. The gentleman asked me what was wrong. He said, "I'll check," and there it was wonderful, glorious hidef.

We pioneers need to help the experimentalists!

Maybe the wind was too strong last night.

I'm not noticing a change in any other stations still and the NTSC stations on the same coax connection are still there. Low power is not effective at all at serving the HDTV market. Going from 90-70 isn't a problem, but from 60-40 is. The signal is jumping too from mid 50s to 40s. I had a stable 65 for several months prior. Just when I finally got my HT perfect, I now need to experiment with indoor antennas again. At least I'll still get Alias in HD.  .

(Note to WISN on Sunday: Flip the switch 5 minutes before Alias instead of after the start of it.)

The signal appears to have shifted in reference to where I used to place the Radio Shack Double Bow tie. I've locked a 60-62 solid signal with the Silver Sensor antenna now.

How do I "properly" add that signal to the incoming roof antenna coax which has much higher PBS/NBC/ABC reception? In other words, how are you guys using two antennas for HDTV OTA?

I've got a few splitters, RG6 Quad Shield cable, and a Radio Shack UHF + VHF/HI + VHF/Low Combiner/Splitter still here from the last failure at this.

Thanks.
