CBS58's annoying habit of switching during programs and avoiding national upconvert

Once again, we get the picture perfect CBS upconvert after NCIS for the start of The Amazing Race...  


then 1 minute later somebody decides to flip the damn switch during the program to the crappy local upconvert.  :bang:


It's bad enough when we get stuck with the local upconverts, but flipping from national to local while not in commercials is unacceptable.

And lose the foolish blue bars. It runs right through the CBS national logos and serves no purpose other than to distract.

You're missing the point here.... they're switching to the local feed when they could easily use the superior upconvert picture quality of the network feed.
