Hello,

Just bought a JVC HD-ILA 52" and I'm trying to set up an antenna to get OTA.

I did buy also a Terk interior UHF antenna (amplified) from Radio Shack. I believe I get most Digital signal from Milwaukee and Chicago. I'm very happy with the result and never have to move the antenna to get both city.

Problem: My wife hate the indoor antenna ! So, I now need to set an outdoor one.

I'm almost 100% in the middle of Milwaukee and Chicago (one is totally south, the other is totally north). I wonder if I could use a channel master 4228 in the attic (without rotor) and get as good result as the indoor antenna. Can someone share their experience with bidirectionnal UHF antenna.

Do you believe I would also need an amplifier?

Final question, anyone have a DVD recorder to suggest (mostly using hard drive) that would work good for OTA ?

Thank you for your help.
