NBC Tonight Show Update

I just wish to let everyone know that, cross your fingers the audio problems with the Leno show should now be corrected.  I just got done having a very pleasant and informative phone conversation with one of the engineers at WTMJ.  Apparently I was the only who had contacted TMJ about the problem that has been going on for about the last three weeks.  After he did some investigating on his own at TMJ's end, he was also able to detect and isolate the problem.  After he isolated what it was, he contacted NBC and told them what to look for.  The problem was acknowledged by NBC and originated with the encoding equipment at the Burbank studios and has now been corrected.  Also out of some 200 NBC affiliates, TMJ was the only station to contact NBC regarding the problem.  Hats off to TMJ and the engineer I spoke with this evening
