NBC Rain Problems

More rain in NYC..  The NBC HD uplink is not getting out very well.
Too much breakup on HD.. so we switched back to SD feed which is now coming from the backup NBC uplink in Burbank.

Can you give it another shot?? There have been ZERO other reports of this from people in other markets the last two days.

Update: Found reports in the Local feedback section but not national section. This sucks. NBC national is really blowing it this Fall.

I saw them attempt to keep it in HD during Leno last night and it just wasn't working out, I can understand them leaving it in SD. At least they're trying! :wave:

NBC5 from Chicago also tried and never turned off HD feed. I found HD with break ups better then SD feed.

Well, from what I saw for as long as they kept it in HD, the picture kept going to black for seconds at a time. Most viewers won't like that, and they figure they'd rather have a stable picture than an HD picture that keeps cutting out.

growing pains maybe soon they'll add the backup feed capable of HD.
