e on Saturday?????? The White Sox game has now been rendered worthless due to some silly new "no playoff game for the division rule" which means the White Sox win the division even if they get swept and tie with Cleveland.

What are the chances WITI will figure this out and show the national Red Sox v Yankees game? My guess is they don't have a clue.

Update: Fox 6 is now showing the Red Sox v Yankees game. :) However, the other 3 games remain blacked out nationally even though the paid packages advertised you could watch all 4 last week.

Stations do not pick their games. They are assigned from league HQ (same as football).

Actually that is not a silly rule.  Teams within the division play each other 19 times during the years.  Makes much more sense to put the weight on those 19 games rather than a winner take all game.  Puts the importance on the season series, where it belongs.

FYI, I won't be home to watch it, but The Red Sox/Yankess game will be available at my house from my BEV system.  The use the Boston locals as their east coast channels.  May be home to catch the end of it.  As a die hard White Sox fan I want both of them to get in, Red Sox to Win the division & Yankees as Wild Card.

Unforunately, the morons at Fox care more about screwing over baseball fans than figuring out who should get which game. 3 of the 4 games to watch will be blacked out nationally. At least 2 of those games would have been in HDTV had it not been for Fox taking over the local coverage. Now we find out that you will only get ALCS Game 2 or NLCS Game 1. Wake the hell up Fox. We want to watch the games. We don't care about Scooter the ugly baseball. We don't want the web cam in the dirt. We don't want McCarver and Buck

This is ****ing absurd 4 games and we can only see 1. FOX created this nightmare by rescheduling games into a National blackout. MLB should lift the damn blackout on MLBEI and MLB.tv.  :bang:  :bang:  :bang:  :bang:

Just received word from Fox6 that they will show the Red Sox v Yankees game. :)

That's great news for me, but still a disgrace that MLB allowed Fox to steal the other 3 important games from MLB Extra Innings and MLB.tv last weekend through rescheduling. :(
