I finally got a chance to see some programming on FSN HD with the Brewers playing in Phoenix the last couple evenings.  While seeing any program material at all was a welcomed relief from the blank gray screen I was somewhat disappointed with the picture quality.  I'm not sure who's at fault here but the picture had a soft, slightly out of focus look.  The picture didn't look real bright either so maybe the stadium lighting wasn't sufficient for the HD cameras.  Maybe I'm just spoiled with some of the sports programming on ESPN HD and the major network feeds.

I think it's great that the Brewers/Bucks are on FSN HD every so often but I must say it is some of the worst HD quality I have ever seen.  The grass is swimming a lot, the picture isn't very sharp.  I think the signal from FSN must be over compressed or something because the quality just isn't there.  It's terrible when compared to baseball on INHD or ESPN.

It is however much better than SD.

This was good news for us Direct TV people....we didn't get those FSN HD feeds last year......If a Bucks game was broadcast in HD by nba.com we would only get the SD feed from Fox Sports North.

Is it the plan that we get certain Bucks game in HD this upcoming season as well?  I'd like that.......
