Did anyone get the waivers from DirecTV to get the NY or LA HD feeds?

D* submitted my waiver request a month ago, and I still haven't heard anything - but a friend in the Chicago market submitted his and got approved in 2 weeks.

What's going on? How long did it take you? Are the Milwaukee stations just taking forever?

It is my understanding that you will not receive a waiver from any Milwaukee station.
Fox 6 doesn't require one, call D* and insist on talking to some one in the HD Dept. and tell that person that you want them to turn on the feed for channel 88 for you. That is Fox out of NYC in HD. Because Fox 6 is owned by Fox we are entitled to the feed on 88.
As for the rest of the locals you will only get them in HD with OTA or digital cable.

We get Fox and CBS feeds.  We had a waiver and used to pay extra for CBS, but now on the bill it says:  Network:  CBS HD Available w/Local or HD Pkg.  Of course, after I saw that line item on the bill, I had to call up and ask them to remove the line item that was charging us for CBS.  Guess they couldn't figure that out themselves.
