I'm not sure if I am fighting a losing battle so let me know.  Right now I have my antenna (RS VU-120 XR) as high as I can get it (without more contruction).   I really would like to get digitals out of Chicago (part-time or better, especially WGN).  Antennaweb does not say its possible but I know its conservative, too.  Right now I barely get analogs.
I would consider the 4228 as long as I don't lose the channel 10 digitals.
To give you an idea on my current reception I currently regularly get all MKE and all Madison stations (including 15(19) and Fox 47(11)) digitals with rare and very tolerable audio dropouts (using rotor).  There are no building obstructions in my path toward Chi.

Probably it is not a lost cause.
I can get Chicago digital on the south-east corner of Muskego with 4228 in the attic.

A VU-120 is a "suburban" antenna, not designed for long-range reception.
I agree, you will need a Channelmaster 4228 (//www.warrenelectronics.com, //www.solidsignal.com or //www.starkelectronics.com has them) for any hope of
getting a reliable signal. however, be warned: you're more than 60 miles out,
and below the "radio horizon" for the signals. Unless you are way up high, even that antenna and a preamp won't give you 100% reliable reception from Waukesha.

FWIW, I found the CM4228 locally at Marmax on Rawson Ave, cheaper than those online sites.  I paid just over $40.  Call them at 414-425-8020 (ask for Dave) for a price quote before you order from an online vendor.
