Can you run a Dish for DirectTV (HD) and an Antenna over a single RG6 into the house?  I have one run from the attic to the basement where I have all the cable runs to.

Thanks,
John

It is possible but I wouldn't recommend it.  The cost of DC coupled combiners and splitters on each end plus the losses involved wouldn't be worth it.  It is just better to run another cable.

Here's a hint to help run the cable if you're not adept to it.  Either pull 2 new cables using the old one or remove the old one with a pull string attached.  Then tie the old and new together and pull back through with the pull string.  Just remember to mark the cables on each end, so you know which is which.
