Quote from: jcwilliadoes that mean we have to buy all of our movies all over again?"   I said "HD DVD is this (pointing to shawshank) and yes we have to buy all our movies again"

She was not pleased.  :)

You could always rent HD DVDs.  No need to buy them.  Also, there would be no need to buy the same movies you already own on standard DVD again.  I'm sure you have already seen them.

Unless you are the type of person that watches the same movies over and over.  Then I guess you have a problem.

I don't like group hugs.  :)  I'm a one on one type of guy.

By the way, ESPN HD is the biggest bunch of horse hockey this side of the Mississippi.  Calling that channel HD is pure fraud and why I have to pay extra to have that crap on my cable box is beyond me.  On the other hand, I am very impressed with TNT HD.

Luckily for TWC, I am QUITE impressed with the inHD channels.

Watch it for a while longer...  While they do a few things right, they stretch the hell out of some material, and even worse...  Watch Angel on HD-TNT sometime.  They take a naturally widescreen show, and cut off the sides for "fullscreen" on non-HD TNT.  Then, to make it "widescreen" for HD-TNT, they cut off the top and bottom.

jcwillia

i only watch it for movies.  I can't get into TV series.  Too much time, too little interest on my part.

I'm a video gamer, so the only TV I'm watching is sports and G4.

I know what you're saying though.

G4 ::shivers::

Gimme TechTV back. :guns:

Shrek

I agree seems I used to watch tech tv quite a bit but not too many programs on g4 I want to watch.

Quote from: kevbeck122mashy76 on ebay... around $10 shipped.  My theory is that since it's a digital signal, as long as it gets from A to B I'm fine with buying a cheap cable.  .

Absolutely! Thats what I bought.  :rock:  :rock:

I wish Ziff Davis never sold it way back when.  ZDTV was the best version of the channel.  TechTV was good, but G4 just totally ruined the station when they bought it.
