Moving to Indy. Changing jobs.

It's been nice chatting with you all here in Milwaukee. I guess TWC stock price will go down when I call to cancel my service.

Not sure what kind of service is going to be available down there. I know my sister has Insight, but her HD DVR only has one tuner. Not sure I can live with that. I will need to find HD cable, Internet and Phone service to replace what I have here.

I hope you enjoy Indianapolis Summerfun

Thanks for your participation here, and good luck in Indy!

As far as what's available there, unfortuntely, there's no Indianapolis HDTV.org...

You have a couple options...

Indy HDTV Voice

or, if you can find some paying sponsors there, we'd be happy to build and host one just like Milwaukeehdtv.org.  ;)

On a sad note, Indy is the home office of Emmis Communications

which owns FOX-HD in Green Bay. These Indy Emmis guys

have refused to give the FOX-HD signal to Time Warner

Cable in GBay for free. Seems that Emmis needs a 'few' $$ from

TWC for that FOX-HD signal..  This forces some OTA HD

sales in GBay during both early NASCAR season & the full

NFL season. On a better note, Emmis has 5 or 6 TV stations for sale

including FOX-11 in GBay..... That might solve the stalemate.......

Well it's not like the internet stops at the state line.  Stop in and say hi once and awhile.  Heck if we had someone from down under patronage our forum, there's no reason why you still can't, if just to let us know how your doing.

You can count on that. I can give you updates on Indy HD. Who is getting what and such.

You will be missed, but don't be a stranger...now that you won't have TWC, you will might have/find something worse in the cable "arena" there (yes, it is possible). :D

Keep us up-to-date once you get an internet connection.
Maybe your new location will have someplace close to do watersking and have the atmosphere of Pewaukee...good luck!

Good luck to you. keep in touch.

I'm sure the cable will not be as good. As I said in the first post, my sister lives in the same area and the cable company is Insight. She has HD and a DVR, but the interactive guide sucks and she only has one tuner in the DVR. I'm not going to be happy about that. The guide does not even allow you to program for upcoming shows. For example, I can't say "record all Stargate" shows. I may have to look into TIVO and SAT. Oh God, I really did'nt say that did I?

Now you're talking!

Good luck in the new location. Hope to see still see you around here occasionally.

Gee... I moved into Pewaukee and you move out? I hope it wasn't something I said. :D
