D* Oval Dish Pointing & Ordering D*

Had a couple of questions.  First how hard is it to point the multi satellite oval dish?  D* says to have a professional do it.  Wondering if anyone has any advise on this from a user level.

Second question when ordering D* is it better to order from a retailer or directly from D* in your opinion?   The last time I was a D* customer I ordered from a retailer and was satisfied, but thought about ordering direct this time.

Well, from your post, it looks like you'll be a new subscriber so standard installation should be included. This will include mounting and pointing the dish. I think you can get a better deal through a retailer.

Definitly go with a reputable local retailer check around with others in your
area to see who has done work for them.

If you call D* chances are you will get a fulfillment company to put this in for
you and LOOK OUT you never know what you will get and they tend to disappear
(no local support) I know I have to go back and fix a lot of the screw ups by these
cowboys!
