I hope I am explaining this correctly.  I am wanting to run an off air receiver and a cable hd receiver at the same time however I only have one input for HD(RBG).  Anyone know of a cheap switch to switch between inputs?

RGB meaning component?  I know Walmart sells a 4 device component switcher made by Pelican for less than $30.  It's by the video game accessories I believe.  I think Circuit City and Best Buy have it too.

Here's the one at Walmart: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=3910180

This might help.

I know its jus for Composite video. but you can plug in the "rgb" Component cables. just be sure to match up the colors on the other end. i use that here for switching sources and it works well. they might have one with the right adaptors and it can do audio as well.

there are some higher end ones as well. look in the videogame area of your local Best Buy or electronics store. they usually have them there too.

I would save the money and go with a composite/stereo switch (ie a switch with yellow, white, and red RCA connections) and just connect the composite cable to it (ie red to red, green to yellow, and blue to white).  Thats what I did prior to getting my new recever which has a built in component video switch.

Skip the first two and get something by Audio Authority. For around $200, its the best out there.

I disagree on the AA model if you have any video game units involved. The autoswitching was a problem for me with it. I've since moved to the Zektor model for my component video/audio switching. Still have AA unit for digital audio combined with Gefen for DVI switching.

I had no problems what-so-ever. Maybe the one you had was f'ed up?

Zektor is a good brand, too.
