That is really sweet!

A few drawbacks it may have are (or it contains and doesn't mention) HD support, an integrated ATSC tuner, or a CableCard slot. Perhaps those options are available, just not listed in this press release.

Also the 100Mb LAN is a little antiquated for a machine of this caliber.

Other than that, it looks like a great unit to compete with homebuilt HTPCs or Windows MCE.

Being based on Linux, I bet it won't be long before the interface is ported to a standard x86 based computer.

The important questions are where it gets it's guide data from, does it do name based recordings, and how much is the fee for guide data.
