Summer, does TWC have the RF remotes that work in any room of the house for the digital cable box?

NO, TWC will not supply you with the modulator or RF remotes. You will need to do that yourself. I assumed you were doing it yourself now.

I have the modulator, but the RF remotes are from two old Sony direct TV boxes that are seven years old....not sure those would work with a TWC box.

......Do the TWC digital cable boxes work with third party RF remotes, or is there such a thing available for an extra upcharge with TWC?

I don't believe TWC has any kind of RF remotes. Anything you do will be third party. You will need some kind of repeater. The device will need to work on RF, then repeat the IR signal in the room with the TWC box. I know they are made. You might start with Radio Shack, then start looking on web sites.
