Antenna for Kenosha!

I was hoping someone could help with a antenna for the Kenosha area.  I emailed Solid Signal and they recommended the Channel master 3020.  However I only want to get HD with the antenna and this one is for VHF and UHF.  I thought HD was on UHF only.  Do I need both UHF and VHF to get all HD in the area?  Plus I need one that can rotate so I can get Chicago stations as well as Milwaukee.    Any help for a newbie would be appreciated.  Thanks

UHF only works fine for Milwaukee.  I don't know about Chicago.

CM 4228 is a UHF deep fringe antenna that will also work quite well for hi-band VHF - in other words every thing above 6 VHF plus UHF.  There is a bit of the cult of the personality about them - but the darn things work.

CBS 2 Chicago broadcasts on rf 3 so a 4228 won't cut it. Not sure you'd get it even with a proper VHF antenna right at the moment with the minimum power they are at right now but midsummers power surge might make it aquirable. They also have elected to switch to rf 11 when the transition is completed by who knows when...2 yrs to 5 yrs so the 4228 looks good for that

Does anyone know what the Digital Special Temporary Authority is for CBS-2  ( channel 3?) in Chicago?  If they're high and have even a moderate amount of actual ERP in the VHF range - Kenosha may not be unreasonable. The real issue is exactly what power are they operating at now?

CBS DT is currently at 4.4kW but with their move to rf11(if it pans out)

Looks like CBS 2 won't be beaming into Kenosha if this is true.
