I've been watching both HDNet channels for close to 3 hours now with no problems :)

Awesome, hopefully that means I can get a clean recording of Nothing But Trailers this weekend.  :D

All problems are gone for me now.  I still had some blockiness with the InHD channels this morning, but it disappeared in the afternoon (of course, right when the tech was supposed to come).  I had her look at stuff anyways... and she said the amp was killing the outgoing signal from the boxes (rolled her eyes at the RS like you mhz  ).  Now we have the source coming into a 1x4 splitter going to both TVs with the boxes, RR, and the amp.  The amp still outputs to the direct cable TVs, even though she said we really didn't need it.  So now I apparently have one of the highest signals she has seen.

I asked her about new stuff... here's what I got out of her:
Whole house solution... like what Voom was going to offer
The ability to watch shows from the past two weeks (new iControl thing maybe?)
New HD channels

She didn't tell me when though...

Looks like it's back... the Enron movie is having the same issue.

Oh god no. And I don't think they're re-airing that on different dates either. Lets hope it's gone by the 2nd airing tonight (that's when mine's set to record).

Wednesday night was awful...pops, digital pixelating and audio drop outs on HDNET for Jake 2.0 (used to be in HD on UPN24 awhile ago).

Even WISN HD was bad during "EYES" at 9PM that night. UGH!
Last night NASCAR on HDNET was much better...HMMM

Are the TWC HD personnel testing the HD package area for additional HD channels?

I take it as a yes if no one contradicts me  :D
(could that be the problem?) :)

Without a doubt, this issue has not been corrected at all. What a frustrating night of viewing HDNET movies.

Oh-I forgot-HDNET Movies stunk big-time, too.
If it was just the voices, maybe I could start taking lip-synching classes, but the pixelating just kept on until it got frustrating to watch (and I couldn't read their lips).

Yet INHD 1 & 2 were fine

I missed some of the beginning.. so I watched it the second time around and it seemed worse than the first showing.  At some points it was freezing up every 10-15 seconds.

Thanks to your continued feedback.  I had the guys work the problem again this morning.  Finished up around 10am.  I monitored it for over an hour Saturday afternoon/evening and found 0 problems.  Lets see if the gremlins are out of the system (again).
Sorry about the multipule issues on this... we almost always nail it the first time, however this particular issue has been a tough one to nail down.

All is quiet... must be 'no news is good news'.

If my DVR records "Jake 2.0"  in HD on HDNET and I get the usual pixelating and audio drops like last week, I will definitely be letting you know.

It always happens on a show you want to watch - some like the trailers -me, this show (used to be on UPN in analogue).  :D

I've found when I have a problem with InHD or HDNET with the DVR I go and see how the HD non-dvr box is doing...and there doesn't seem to be a problem.  I'm just wondering if the DVR's aren't as good on decoding the signal from the cable as the plain vanilla boxes are.

Haven't noticed any problems recently. Of course that does no good now that the Enron movie was full of glitches. It's true... it's always during something you really wanna watch.
