Medium was botched tonight.

Watching Law & Order at 9pm tonight on TWC 504, sound is screwed up. Can hear the music, background noises, etc, but no vocals. Currently I'm playing it through my tv (stereo only), seems like the center channel info isn't being included in stereo. Switched to channel 4, works fine. 9:16, after first commercials, still no sound.

Sounds like the same national issue that happened a while ago with Las Vegas for a segment. You could hear everything but the vocals and needed to use CC to read what they were saying. Nothing on AVS at this point.

Watching at home I thought it was a national problem too.  I called our engineering shop but got no answer, so I assumed they were calling NBC or working on the problem.

Looks like I was wrong on both counts.

There's still on mention of any national problem on the AVS Forum. And our local master control operator didn't put anything about it in his operations report.

I'll try to find out more when I see him tonight.

Along the same lines was WTMJ-DT off air during lunch today aprox 12- 1pm I happened to check it and I got no signal.  All other stations were on so I know it's not me. Just wondering.

They were up on the tower this afternoon working on the antenna.
We took part of the antenna down for repair.. so we are at half power until it is back up. It should only be a day or two.

I lost the center audio channel on Law and Order also last night, on my OTA signal from WTMJ-DT.  I had to switch over to the SD to enjoy the rest of the program.  I don't think it was a TW problem.  I don't have TW.

Didn't see this before I posted my other issue. Maybe it's the reason adjoining QAM WITI is screwing up on TWC as well.

Where are their antennas located? Chicago? I'm still getting WTMJ at 84% OTA without issues at half power, but WTMJ on TWC is worse now for me than CBS was last week.
