Survivor on HD channels

:bang: I have TWC and last night while I watched survivor the reception was awful.  The sound kept breaking up and there were lines that would appear across the screen.  A couple of questions, what is exactly is this called?  I have heard the term pixelation (sp), is this it.  I have seen this during other HD shows, specifically ABC.  Next question, is this problem have to do with TWC or the network feed

Whenever things like that start happening, I reboot my box (hold down the power button for 10 sec.).  In fact, I reboot it once a week or so for a kind of preventative maintenance.  Still, the 8300 has a lot fewer problems like that then its predecessor.
