It's really irritating me.  First they do the little banner thing at the bottom when I turned my box on, which screwed my audio up.  Then they did the analog channel tornado alert about 5-10 minutes later which made all of my digital/hd channels get blocky/pixelated and knocked out my modem for RR.  Then they went back to the banner thing.  How many times do I need to be alerted that there's a tornado NOT in my area?  Anyone else having these issues?  I'm sure they have to do it, but I don't need to know three times that there's a tornado warning in Dodge county when I already knew 30 minutes earlier on the way home from work.

You will get it twice for each valid alert while viewing an analog channel.... once on the analog channel (for those customers with analog-only service) and another created by your digital set top.  While watching a digital channel, you only see it once.
It should not have affected your RR at all.

My RR service was fine, but the modem froze and had to be power cycled when they did the analog alert.  Digital channels also got blocky almost like I was getting a weak signal.

I happened to be channel surfing when the alert came on. Every time I'd switch channels, the alert would pop back up and screw up my digital sound. For a good part of it the digital sound was coming thru but the alert added this annoying static sound to it. Then, I finally thought it was gone. Later, it came back, the little alert window popped up, but no text in it, at all. Just the annoying sound. You guys need to work on a better, less annoying, more reliable/predictable alert system. (it screws stuff up differently everytime, at least for me)

I lost everything, cable, rr and the cable phone. Had to reboot the modem and than everything was okay.

I wasn't getting audio at all, just the static.  I don't even think I was getting a picture after flipping a few channels.  It would be nice to have the option in the box settings to turn it off completely or to be able to clear the alert before it's done.  That's the first time I've had an actual alert come through.  I've only seen a test once on the SD box in another room in our house.  All I remember from that was the usual couple of buzzes followed by a constant hum, but I just happened to walk into the room when it happened, so I wasn't too concerned with it.
