I've got a new surround system  and wondered if anyone on the board would be interested in making an offer on the following as I've got too many sound systems the way it is.

Sony STR-DE675 5.1 receiver....excellent unit enjoyed it.

KLH942 Magnetically shielded Center Channel Speaker (matches the 915b's)

All the items are now available as the new system is installed.
Also have a 5 disk CD player that is extra.

Make me an offer I can't refuse.

All are in like new condition.

Does the STR-DE675 have any component video inputs/outputs? Also, does the 675 decode DTS? How much are you asking? Thanks.

Gregg Lengling

No it only routes S-Video and composite Video, I've had it for about 5 years.  It's a 5.1 receiver...make offer.

Do you know if it decodes DTS? I can't find the answer on the 'net. Thanks.

If you're asking about my listing - http://www.milwaukeehdtv.org/forums/showthread.php?t=4845, according to my owners manual, page 29, it can decode DTS and supports Digital Audio, Dolby Digital audio, analog, Dolby ProLogic II, Virtual Surround Back, Surround Back, Neo:6 Cinema, Neo:6 Music and DTS. Hope this helps.

Regarding whether it decodes DTS the answer is yes.  It decodes all Dolby Digital formats thru 5.1, Dolby ProLogic, DTS and PCM (at either 48 or 96 kHz depending on the source).
