Is the 58-1 and 2 guide gone?? I was watching last night and I couldn't get it???

Matt

GBK

yes.. it's been there for a day or two at the beginning of the month ever since then it's been gone.  I guess they have some sort of an excuse for not getting their crap together before the FCC mandated deadline...

The guide was up last night.

Another thing I never noticed before.  I very rarely use the main guide which shows what's on for all of the channels like a cable guide.  Then I had never clicked Info on one of those shows in that main guide before.  I was surprised that there are show descriptions and stuff.  Too bad that doesn't come up on the mini guide I most often use.  It's too much work to press those extra buttons.  Some stations have the details about each show, and others don't.  It could just be that my STB is too much of an antique to show these things in the mini guide.

Well Well maybe they finally are in compliance then.  Hope so

Not to sound nagy but where is 5.1 audio...  ?

It's funny though, their guide is one day late.  If you look at the date it will tell you that for instance, we all know today is Friday.....  If you pull up the guide, you will get information for Saturday's programming, and it proudly tells you that today is Saturday.  Duh.

55-1 is even worse.  Their "clock" says that it is an hour later than reality AND it is set 4 days earlier than our calendar.  Good thing they don't have their guide up!

Sometimes you have to wonder if the people making these things even stop to view their results.  Pathetic.  Who hires these people?  Why aren't they fired?  Maybe outsourcing isn't such a bad idea after all.....

You've must of struck a nerve at 58 I just looked and my guide is correct.. date and time.  I guess they fixed it.

I was somewhat surprised to see it fixed so suddenly.  It sure makes a lot more sense when it is done correctly.
