I received an older Proscan PSHD105 tuner that has a HD15 VGA monitor out.  Is there any cheap method to hook it upto a component video input HD TV?

If it provides the synch on green then you will be okay with an adapter cable such as the CC2261 at http://www.cablesdirect.com

If it does not synch on green then you need a converter box like this one:

You can call American TV and ask them if they still carry the RCA brand RGB to YPP transcoder box.  Your receiver was what this transcoder box was originally made for.  I bought one 1-1/2 years ago to connect my HTPC to my HDTV.  Since my HTPC did not have DVI output.  At the time the Browndeer nor the Waukesha store had one but the Fondulac store did.  I was able to order it over the phone and they shipped it to me.  Price was around $80.00 including shipping.  Hope this helps.  :)

I just looked at the Rat Shack link.   That is the same box I bought from American for $80.00
