Looking for a VCR that will output composite and S Video simultaneously, ie. hooking up one TV to the composite output and one TV to the S Video. Do all VCR's that have both outputs do this or is it either one or the other?

Thanx,

Rick

My older JVC SVHS VCR only outputed S-Video OR composite by an internal onscreen "switch" using my remote-only so I would say no to your answer based on my experience.  :(

Unless you are trying to watch pre-recorded stuff, get a TiVo and you get two sets of output jacks and digital recording.   :)  If you have a library of VCR tapes, you have my sympathy.   :drink:

My experience in this area says the only way you will get an S-video output for VHS is if your machine is an SVHS one.  If not, the best you will do is composite video.  I have a JVC VCR/DVD combo and the S-video and component video outputs are only available for the DVD player.

Why not use the composite video for one TV and th RF output for the other?  Those typically work simultaneously.
