I was skeptical that it would work well, but I watched the Super Bowl on Fox 6's feed (OTA) without ANY pixelation an it was very enjoyable.  I don't know if it was just good fortune, or if Fox 6 managed to do something.  I hope others were as fortunate.

I always pick up Fox very well. There's nothing like HD football on a 106" screen.

I was also very satisfied with the coverage by FOX.  Also lots of HD commercials, though I was surprised that companies like Pepsi did not produce their commercial in HD.

Tried to tune in 6-1, but no go.  The analog 6 was there just fine of course.  But not HD.

The sattelite version was better.  Not HD either, but better.  I really enjoyed watching from a DVR.  Being able to skip the boring football game parts and only watch the commercials was a much better viewing experience.

I watched the game on D* ch. 88 -- Fox from New York, and it was great (well, at least technically great, as the Packers weren't playing).  Later, I switched to 6-1, and for the first time ever, it came in fine.  I wonder if they changed something in time for the Super Bowl, though when I checked, the signal strength was still about 60, whereas ch. 4 and 12 are up in the 90s.  So, maybe I was just lucky or the atmospherics were favorable, since usually my receiver reports that is searching for a signal.

I'm not counting on 6-1 as being reliable until they increase their power.

I thought the picture quality was better than normal.  Right up there with Monday Night Football.  I guess it is not the camera quality, or operator skill.  It must be bandwidth related during the regular season, or something else entirely.  I was also glad to see more widescreen and HD commercials too.

I think Fox could do a better job with the audio.  Hopefully they will improve their skills as time goes by.

I know we talked about this several months back.  Or I should say we debated it.  It has alot to do with lighting.  Fox regular season games were for the most part a day time game, as compared to ABC monday night football in the evening with stadium lighting.  Now you saw a game produced by FOX in the evening under the same conditions as ABC games.  The quality was comparable.

I thought there were some daytime playoff games on ABC, weren't there?  I think I remember seeing something during the day on ABC-HD which looked good.
