Looking for comments and opinions on Charter HD.

For now I'm waiting until tomorrow when they are bringing out our box.

Is component the highest quality video out "usually" on the box or do they have DVI or HDMI?  How about for audio?

Thanks
Jeremy

Not sure about Charter but the TWC boxes have DVI

Charter uses Motorola 6200 series recievers.  PM me your e-mail address and I can send you a copy of the manual for it in PDF format.

Thanks davezen2, but I already downloaded it from the Charter's website.

What are your opinions of Charter's HD?  Our box is coming today and I won't be able to play around with it until late tonight :(

Does your box have a DVI out? And is it functional?

Thanks
Jeremy

I like Charter's HD service, however I do wish that they had more channels available. Right now they only offer Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN-HD, HDNet, and HDNet Movies.  (Showtime HD and HBO HD are also available if you subscribe to those services)

Yes, they do have DVI out on the box and it is functional.  The Firewire out is also enabled on this box if you want to hook it up to your computer to record.
