My zenith hd tv 16by 9 has a problem, or I think it does . When I watch hd programming with sidebars the right sidebar at the top bends to the right. I cannot stretch hd images on my tv unless I use dvi, in component I cant switch to stretch. How do I get rid of this annoyance? My manuel says no dvi hook up no stetch on hd channels.Lettbox is fine. im using twc hd 8000 dvr. Thanks mark d. Also my convergence for the upper right hand corner of the screen  bends to the right any suggestions?

You, or someone else, will have to build a straight convergence grid.  That probably means going into the service menu.  If the set is new, tell the retailer you are dissatisfied.  If the set is older, and you want to dump some money into it, maybe a full scale calibration should be a consideration.

Good luck.

That's the nature of the CRT. It has great color and black level, but the geometry and convergence can drive you nuts if your are picky. :)

Those are the main reasons I'll never go back to a CRT ever.
