Sky Angel Offers Half Time Alternative

Sky Angel said it has asked one of its programmers to produce a half-hour special that football fans can switch to during this year's halftime show at the Super Bowl, approaching Sportsweek host Tom McGough and asking him if he would put something together for the Christian-oriented satellite TV service. Sportsweek is a half-hour sports show featuring Christian testimonies from athletes. McGough, a former pitcher for the Cleveland Indians, will be joined by former Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro linebacker and Super Bowl veteran, Robin Cole, to co-host the special, Sky Angel said.

Fox Soccer Net Coming - Fox Sports World will transition into the Fox Soccer Channel on Feb. 7. The network will draw more than 80 percent of its programming hours from world-class soccer competitions, including the Barclays English Premier League, the English FA Cup, the UEFA Cup, the Toyota Intercontinental Cup, World Cup qualifying matches for U.S. and England national teams, the ChampionsWorld Series, and numerous European and Latin American national leagues, Fox said.
